How do I schedule a Mammogram?
If you do not have any breast concerns, you can schedule your mammogram on your own. If you are experiencing any breast concerns, your provider can write a diagnostic imaging order and send it to an imaging facility.
Most insurances will pay for your mammogram each year beginning at age 40. Review your plan's benefits, limitations, and network providers to know where to schedule your appointment. You can also look on the back of your insurance card to find the customer service number. They can help you find the facility that accepts your insurance.
